This basket is perfect for everyday grocery shopping or to carry a picnic lunch. It also works well as an organizing container for your home. It holds quite a lot and is durable and lightweight. You can carry eggs and fruit without worrying about breakage or bruising.The bottom is flat so it won’t tip in the car.
It is made with the same weaving technique as the Octagonal Weave Bamboo Handbag (S•M), but because the bamboo strips are thicker and wider, the resulting weaving pattern is distinct.
A cloth liner is provided to prevent things from falling through the openings.
This basket is made of madake bamboo (Phyllostachys bambusoides) from Kyushu. It is cured to remove the oils and dried in the sun to preserve the bamboo. The bamboo is not dyed, so over time the color will deepen and become richer.


Care:
If the bag gets wet, wipe it well with a dry cloth. If the bag gets drenched, leave it to air dry after wiping it well.
If you don’t plan to use the handbag for an extended period of time, store it in a dry place and occasionally take it out to air to prevent the buildup of mildew.
Take care when carrying small items so that they don’t fall through the holes in the weave.
The cloth liner cannot be removed, so when carrying items that may leak, wrap them in plastic to protect the liner.
